 INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)

     The College has an established Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) which is fully functional. IQAC plays a pivotal role in sustaining and enriching the quality culture of the College consistently. The College IQAC designs/frames the policies of the College ensuring sustenance and enhancement of the quality of higher education as stipulated by NAAC.  It systemaizes its work by setting up various committees for effective implementation of quality related drives. IQAC is the corner stone of academics and a linkage between the teachers and the administration of the College. It has played an important role in execution and enhancement of quality of teaching, learning and evaluation.  The IQAC of Government Degree College for Men, Srikakulam has facilitated a steady and continuous system of innovation in all aspects thereby functioning as an efficient channel in enhancing the efficiency of the institutional processes.

Purpose of the Quality Policy

     This policy is designed to communicate the intent and position of Government Degree College (Men), Srikakulam, in regards to quality.

    Government Degree College for Men,  Srikakulam is committed to bringing about the academic development of every student by attending to his or her individual needs and improving the quality of education by providing relevant, market driven lifelong learning and educational  programmes and certification that satisfy our stakeholders and are in alignment with national and  global labour market demands and human resource development goals. 

     The College is committed to the ongoing development and maintenance of its internal systems  and processes to support its curricula and service delivery and conducts periodic reviews to  inform continuous improvement, expand its brand and create value for the students, donors and  society.
