 The Department of Chemical Sciences inducted in the year 1963 with the inception ofB.Sc. Degree Programs has grown to become a postgraduate and research department withM.Sc., Ph.D. programs with quality chemistry education. The graduates are mentored to gaincore knowledge and imbibe values and prerequisite skills needed to build their career and contribute to the community. It plays a pivotal role in educating undergraduate students fromthe Departments of Mathematics, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology and Computer Sciencein their discipline specific elective chemistry course.
