Our NCC unit at Govt. Degree College is a vibrant and active force comprising 160 dedicated cadets, including 109 in the senior division and 51 in the Senior Wing. The unit was established in 1979 with the objective of fostering leadership qualities, national pride, and a sense of discipline among the youth. Our NCC unit is affiliated with the Directorate and operates under the guidance of experienced officers and instructors. We take pride in our diverse range of cadets who come from different academic disciplines, bringing unique perspectives and talents to our NCC activities and programs. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including dedicated parade grounds, training facilities, classrooms, and storage spaces for NCC equipment. This robust infrastructure enables us to conduct a wide range of activities and training programs that contribute to the overall development of our cadets.

The National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades.

GDC for MEN - NCC SOPs:
- Cadets must be in college Rolls to enroll into NCC.
- Cadets Should have attended a minimum of 75% parades conducted during each year of his/her NCC training and one annual training camp during the NCC service.
- TOTAL CADRE STRENGTH of the 1/14 coy followed is 160 (SD + SW) CADETS.
- Minimum one camp for B certificate exam.
- Only one year extension for supplementary cadets.
- B certificate cadets must attend one camp in third year of training to attend C examination.
- Every activity in the unit based on the NATIONAL CADET CORPS ACT (Act XXXI of 1948) and Rules.
- 75% Attendance is must at their respective classes also in addition to NCC parades.
- Cadets must take permission from their mentor and Principal in addition to ANO to participate an event/ camp during their training period.
