STRENGTHS AND ACHIEVEMENTS OF FACULTY IN ENGLISH

• Organized on workshop on use of theatre in developing communication skills  by inviting an International resource person named Dr. Shri. K. Ganeshan from Jaffna University, srilanka on 14th December 2023 at GDC for Men, Srikakulam.
• Finished an Orientation Programme at HCU, and Refresher courses at Andhra University.
• Been a Lesson writer for Communication Skills book initiated by APSCHE in 2021
• Attended and actively participated in three ELF (English Language Fellow) workshops conducted by the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education, A.P.  in collaboration with RELO(Regional English Language Office, American Embassy).
• Done Live Telecast presentations on various language issues at MANA TV Studios.
• Attended One Week Orientation Workshop on “ OER, Content Development , MOOCS & MOODLE at NIT Warangal from 26^th October to 31^st ,2018.
• Rendering services as NJKC Coordinator ( A training and Placement Officer) for the entire district for the last five years.
• Selected as a Master Trainer to train Lecturers at colleges by CCE, Hyd. since 2013.
• Published and presented Papers at International Seminars, Webinars and Conferences. 
• Been an Associate Editor for an International Journal named Scholar critic.
• Selected as Master Trainer by the British Council for the prestigious collaborative project of APSCHE & British Council “AndhraPradesh Higher Education English Communication Skills- 2017”.  As a part of the project I underwent training for twelve days  from British Council and cascaded the same  training to faculty from VIET (Visakha Institute of Engineering & Technology) , VIT ( Vignan Institute of Technology) and Simhadri Institute of Engineering and Technology.
• Invited to conduct a workshop on “Communication Skills ” at NSS office by Prof. NAD Pal at Andhra University for NSS volunteers on 21 February 2017Year
• Invited Prof. Shri Ganeshan twice from Jaffna University Srilanka, on 26 March 2017 at GDC V.Madugula, Visakhapatnam  to conduct a workshop on communication skills
• Recipient of Ford Scholarship during MPhil research Programme for the year 2005-2006.
• Recipient of Certificate of appreciation from the President of University, for working two years at Al-Mergheb University ,Libya.
• A paper setter  for Undergraduates  at Adikavi Nannya university , Central Tribal University and so on.

1. Invited as a Resource person for workshop conducted for Lecturers on Phonetics and Revision Strategies for Students conducted by CCE on 11^th & 12^th of November 2014 at S.R.R. & C.V.R. Govt. Degree College, Vijayawada.
2. Invited as a Resource person for Two –day workshop conducted for lecturers on Strategies to Improve English Speaking Skills of students conducted by CCE on 17^th & 18^th of December 2014  at Visakha Govt. Degree & PG College For Women, Visakhapatnam
3. Invited as a Resource Person for Two day Teachers’ Orientation Program – Think... Opt.. Proceed. 24-04-19 to 25-04-19 conducted by Gayatri Vidya Parishad College for Degree & P.G.Courses (A). VSKP on . 24^th & 25^th of April, 2019.
4. Selected as Master Trainer/ Resource Person by the British Council for the prestigious collaborative project of APSCHE & British Council “Andhra Pradesh Higher Education English Communication Skills- 2018”. 
5. Regularly conducts sessions as Resource Person at Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Development Institute (APHRDI) Visakhapatnam since 2017. So far more than twenty sessions have been done on Writing skills, Communication Skills, Presentation Skills, Phonetics, Soft Skills, Citizen Centric Behaviour, Role Efficacy etc..
6. Invited as a Resource Person to speak on "Soft Skills" by the Department of Commerce at Government Degree college, Narsipatnam., Visakhapatnam on 4^th November,2019
7. Invited as a Resource Person for a RUSA sponsored training program for students on Reading Skills at ASD government Degree College for women in Kakinada on 11-09-19.
8. Invited as a Plenary Speaker / Resource Person for an International Seminar on Linguistic Theories, law, Life & Language. 11-13 Jan 2020, Osmania University, Hyderabad.
9. Invited as a Resource Person for National Level Multi-Disciplinary Webinar on “Impact of Covid-19 on Indian Economy –Some Challenging Issues” organized by Dr. V.S.Krishna Govt. Degree & PG College (A), Visakhapatnam on 23^rd May, 2020.
10. ) Invited as a Resource Person foran International Webinar on “Promoting Critical Thinking through Reading Strategies” organized by Jaffna Science Association, Sri Lanka on 30^th June 2021.
11. Invited asa Resource Person for an Online Extension Lecture on “ Vishwakavi Rabindranath Tagore” conducted by SRR Govt. ARTS & SCIENCE College (A), Karimnagar on 7^th May,2022.
12. Invited as a Resource Person by the UGC HRDC –Osmania University to conduct two sessions on Writing Technical Report and Reading Strategies for the Polytechnic Lecturers of Telangana State on 17^th June of 2022.Invited as a Resource Person by the UGC HRDC –Andhra University to  deliver a session on Bloom’s Taxonomy and Student Centred Teaching  to the newly recruited  faculty of Degree Colleges of AP as a part of their Induction Programme on 29^th June 2022.
13. Invited as a Resource Person by the American Corner  at Andhra University to deliver a talkon “ July 4^th and Its Impact on India” on 06^th July,2022.
14. Invited as a Resource Person by the UGC HRDC –Andhra University to  deliver a session on “ Critical Pedagogy” to  faculty of Degree Colleges of AP as a part of their Orientation Course  on 28^th July 2022.
15. Delivered two sessions on as a Resource Person for Business Communication Skills and Writing Communication, on  ToT Prorammes  for the faculty of Degree Colleges conducted at Dr.V S Krishna Govt Degree College(A), Visakhapatnam on 04/08/2022 and 05/08/2022.
